The Big Broadcast:
A Radio show celebrating 78 rmp era music from NPR WFUV, 90.7, Fordham University, hosted by Rich Conaty.
These shows come to us via the brainchild of Jim the78man, his website, the Big Broadcast Archive at: http://thebigbroadcast.tripod.com/.
Week in and week out for over a year Jim has posted mp3 encodes of Rich Conaty's fine show. Each broadcast is split into four segments of about 10 megabytes each. Each week he posts two new shows at the main page listed above for those of you who can't wait for the next release in this series.

Lastly should the spirit move you, NPR stations always need public support. Jim emphasizes that listeners should support WFUV, either by signing up for a membership or going to their membership page and giving a donation under other amount. This is a separate cd project having nothing to do with either WFUV or Jim.
Cd Issues
Due to bandwidth considerations, Jim does not have access to the Hard drive where the shows are stored. There are a few dates where shows are missing and as such are not included on this set. They include: 09/06/98 and 01/02/00.
Some shows have not turned up yet as Jim had not yet started collecting Big Broadcast shows but Jim is still searching for them. They include:
